Annual Business Awards
The Annual Business Awards program was instituted to celebrate the accomplishments of area businesses and individuals. The Annual Business Awards is designed to be an evening of entertainment, recognition and celebration for the entire community. It's an evening for business attire, good food and a time to put the challenges of business aside and revel in the spotlight of success.
Awards are presented in several categories. To read a complete description see the Nomination Form. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
At the Annual Business Awards, The Charles Stewart Mott Citizens of the Year Award is presented to the individual who has, over several years, made significant contributions to the well-being of the community and reflects the character of Charles S. Mott, Flint’s most famous philanthropist or creator of the C.S. Mott Foundation.
The Robert P. Gerholz Award is presented to the business that exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit of one of Flint's most dynamic business leaders. His life and accomplishments are recalled and celebrated in the award.
In addition to the above-mentioned awards, the Regional Chamber frequently honors a long-standing business celebrating a significant milestone.
